Rosalie and Tom have a falling out and soon are not spending much time together at all. Tom and Rosalie both appear to be quite hard headed in their own way. Things are finally patched up at a half term costume party where they work together to build their costumes.
One last row between Tom and Rosalie results in Rosalie running away to have a good cry and getting stuck in the Yew hedge - in the same place Beth Gwensi and Daisy used to hide. Rosalie's dress and hair get caught up in the hedge - and Tom has to cut her out and Rosalie emerges with much shorter hair!!!
